Pelletier was a recent graduate of Fuquay-Varina High School in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, WTVD reported. Pelletier was last seen on August 1 while on a family vacation in Englewood, Florida, before leaving around 1:30 a.m. to travel with his cousins toward Brevard County to visit more family, according to the CCSO.

More than a week after the disappearance of Giovanni Pelletier, the teenager who was last seen in Mims, Florida, authorities have found a body in the area where he went missing.

After more than a week-long search, the body of Giovanni Pelletier, the 18-year-old who went missing in Florida on Aug. 1, has been found, according to family members and officials.
