Viewers have been fleeing MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in droves since co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski revealed on Monday that they trekked down to Mar-a-Lago to meet with President-elect Donald Trump, according to the latest Nielsen figures.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough reacted to criticisms of his and co-host Mika Brzezinski's meeting with President-elect Trump on Tuesday and said there was a "massive disconnect" between social media and reality.

The defeated MSNBC anchors -- who have slammed Trump in the past as a “fascist" and compared him to Adolf Hitler -- had a face-to-face with the winning Republican at his Mar-a-Lago estate Friday to “restart communications” after conceding that Americans had overwhelmingly made their choice by re-electing him.
