Stewart knocked Democrats in Monday’s episode of “The Daily Show” for playing by the rules too much and advised them to follow Republicans in finding “loopholes” to get what they want done. He suggested that Democrats should start playing hardball and should stop nitpicking Republicans for not following the rules.

After playing clips of pundits misjudging the outcome, he said, "It's delightful to hear explanations from people who were so wrong about what would happen."
