China's Leapmotor is set to start taking orders in Europe for a city car and an SUV, the automaker and its partner Stellantis said on Tuesday, as they expand their budget electric vehicle (EV) offering in the region.

Chinese EV automaker Leapmotor is teasing its latest SUV model and the first to arrive on its new “B Platform” architecture. The company posted initial images of its B10 compact SUV before the new EV model makes its debut at the Paris Auto Show alongside joint venture partner Stellantis.

Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) and China’s Leapmotor revealed that they are set to begin taking orders in Europe for a city car and an SUV, as they expand their budget electric vehicle (EV) offerings in the region.

The e-408, a full-electric version of the fastback midsize sedan, debuts in Paris. Long-range versions of the e-3008 compact SUV, with 700 km range, and e-5008 midsize SUV, with 668 km range, will also be shown.

Chinese automaker Leapmotor brings its first EVs to Europe with the help of Stellantis. Pricing starts from €18,900 for the T03 hatchback and from €36,400 for the larger C10 SUV. Leapmotor will expand its lineup by launching a new EV every year over the next 3 years.
