NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Two women accused of assisting Orleans Justice Center jail escapees this week have been arrested, the Louisiana State Police said Wednesday (May 21). Courtnie Harris of New Orleans, 32, and Corvanntay Baptiste of Slidell, 38, each was booked with accessory after the fact to the May 16 escape.
Meanwhile, an inmate threatened to stab the employee with a "shank," a homemade knife, according to the employee's statement in an arrest affidavit.
