There are three areas of tropical activity in the Atlantic Ocean and two are right of the coast of the Carolinas. More passing showers are possible Sunday evening before slightly drier conditions develop on Monday. Two weather impact days are likely Tuesday and Wednesday as a higher chance for showers is likely each day.

Tropical Storm Dexter has formed over the western Atlantic Ocean, several hundred miles off the NC coast, according to the National Hurricane Center.
