OU football will not host a traditional spring game, opting for a fan day where players and coaching staff members will participate in combine-style drills.

It appears that the age of “spring games” in college football is coming to an end, as the Oklahoma Sooners became the latest program to cancel their spring game.

Two of the most promising signees of the 2025 class came on the offensive line, in five-star prospect Michael Fasusi and four-star Ryan Fodje, both tackles. Freshmen haven’t often played for the Sooners up front under Bill Bedenbaugh but those two could be ready sooner rather than later.
