The Philadelphia Parking Authority posted a notice on its website on Thursday that AI cameras will generate tickets for cars illegally parked in bus lanes. Violators will be fined starting sometime in the spring. The camera-based parking enforcement technology was approved during the Jim Kenney administration.

The city of Sacramento has begun using artificial intelligence to issue fines for vehicles parked illegally at bus stops. These $100 citations started Tuesday under a joint program between the city and the Sacramento Regional Transit District to improve rider safety and accessibility.
