Simon Richard Baker III (born March 30, 1986) is an Aboriginal Canadian actor of Cree, Haida, and Squamish descent. He has appeared in Strange Empire (2014), Murdoch Mysteries (2017), Outlander (2022), and Hey, Viktor! (2023).

Host Simon Baker travels deep inside Mexico’s Durango State, to meet Indigenous communities still practicing their traditional justice systems, largely independent from the Government of Mexico.

Simon is Haida, Squamish and Cree and lives with his family near Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a staunch advocate of his First Nations culture, a talented Haida and Cree singer/dancer and an avid lacrosse player.
