Depends on the max read/write speeds of the port itself. That'll be the limit. But at this point you get diminished returns. if a game loads in 1 second, but a new hard drive comes out which loads it in half a second I'm not too fussed.

Nov 5, 2021 · I know that's a small memory, but the Series S price is fair for what it is. Just my opinion. My solution is to have only 2 big new gen games that I'm currently playing (like Flight simulator and Forza Horizon) in the internal memory, plus other minor games (like Psychonauts, Art of rally, Back 4 blood, Hades etc).
