The Edgar Shannon Library | UVA Library
UVA's main library building, Shannon Library (formerly "Alderman Library"), underwent a major renovation from 2020-2024, and reopened on January 8, 2024. The beautifully renovated building brings the library up to current standards of safety, accessibility, and service.
