Sep 7, 2016 · You need to let the phone die completely. Once it's dead (and the blue light) is no longer dead, plug the phone into an OEM walk charger. In my situation, thanmy s7 edge would vibrate to recognize the charthen reset - before it could even build up a charge (so I thought). I left it alone for an hour or so, and amazingly, it booted up like normal.
My Galaxy S7 crashed and won't turn on anymore.
Mar 23, 2020 · I have exactly the same issue. Phone is about 3 years old, original battery. After a lot of freezings/crashings the screen is now black and I cannot turn it on. I tried holding: volume up + power. volume down + power. Both volume buttons + power. Home + volume up + power. and probably more combinations.

The link below is how somebody got Ethernet to work on an S6 Edge that was rooted. It appears that by default Ethernet is not enabled in Android phones. Enabling Ethernet over USB OTG.

When i tried to turn it on, it started to reboot it self once it got to the samsumg logo, then eventually stopped even rebooting it self. Now it is stuck with a blue LED light on, and wont turn on.
