I have contacted 3 different local (and well known online) shops in the DC area and the install cost range is $1,000 to $1,700 for just the install without tune.

Aug 28, 2015 · CX is a cheap, bare minimum kit. If you go with them, plan on replacing bolts and clamps with higher quality, stronger pieces. Plan on replacing the turbo, BOV, and wastegate as all three are knock-offs. Apart from the turbo, all three mentioned parts at least function. BOV works when adjusted and wastegate properly holds boost at WG pressure.

May 13, 2021 · Recently installed an HKS GTIII-RS turbo kit on my 2015 BRZ. The wastegate spring is at 12psi which is high for stock engines but I know that boost isn’t what kills our engines, it’s the torque. The kit works on stock motors but can also be paired with HKS stroker kit.
