First field observation of a newly disclosed DFR station. During the observation, SØPHIA logged a 5 GHz network broadcasting as brinc-station. The BSSID resolves to MikroTik hardware and the signal was weak at roughly -90 dBm, suggesting we were catching it near the edge of range. That doesn’t tell us exactly what role the radio plays. What it does give us is a repeatable RF signature tied to the environment around the station….something we can document now and compare against future observation
