From time to time, in between composing sessions, I find myself revisiting archival videos from earlier years. Today I revisited this recording of Luis Gonzalez Marti and Carlos Gil performing my composition Zestoa, specifically the fourth movement, “Incidents in Zestoa.” I feel truly fortunate that, early in my career, I had the opportunity to write music for my teachers and for musicians I deeply admired. | Ricardo Molla Albero
