A car bomb exploded in an attack that targeted the convoy of a commander of a Saudi-backed military unit near the southern Yemeni port city of Aden on Wednesday, January 21. Two soldiers were reportedly killed and several others injured. A blast took place north of Aden as a convoy carrying Hamdi Shukri, a senior commander in the Giants Brigades, was passing through the Ja'awalah area on the northern outskirts of the city.
