Resolution, of course, coming from the word “resolve”, means “a firm determination to do something.” So, based on that, resolutions come from doing, from behavior. Rather than from *being*. And this is why it’s so hard for resolutions to stick and be effective. If it’s only coming from our behavior, it does not have the same kind of empowerment as if it comes from
