An arcing powerline sparked a fire on Southeast 91st Avenue Monday afternoon, burning a section of asphalt but causing no structural damage or injuries. Fire crews quickly responded around 4:24 p.m. near the old Marshall High School campus to extinguish the flames and secure the area. The live wire, which was still arcing and sparking in the intersection, posed a hazard, but no injuries have been reported.
