Suspected Arson at Both Restaurants owned by same people Both Shaaz Indian Cuisine and Bisi Bisi in Scarborough were recently targeted in suspected arson attacks: • Shaaz Indian Cuisine: On May 23, 2025, around 3 a.m., suspects reportedly broke into the restaurant at 2300 Lawrence Avenue East, poured gasoline, and set it on fire. Surveillance footage shows the suspects filming the incident before fleeing. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the restaurant sustained significant damage.
