Mission Viejo - Yesterday the OCFA UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Program assisted Mission Viejo Animal Services in investigating a reported mountain lion sighting. Using FLIR (Forward-Looking Infrared) drone technology, our team was able to rule out a mountain lion and instead located an unhealthy bobcat in the area. Plans are underway to safely trap and transport the bobcat to a rehabilitation facility for care. While bobcats generally do not pose a risk to the public, if you encounter wildlife
